Sam is a multi-award-winning serial entrepreneur, with 10 successful start-ups to his name, including the Bafta Winning content agency; Don’t Panic, the genre defining interactive TV Series Dubplate Drama; and the industry leading Creative Youth Network; Livity.

He is also the best selling author of Be More Pirate, out on Penguin in the UK, and Simon&Schuster in the US. He’s a consultant to brands from Red Bull to Roald Dahl as well as Governments, think tanks and policy makers.

Sam has been a mentor to thousands of young entrepreneurs and is now a sought after public speaker on Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Leadership and Youth.

Sam Conniff Allende is a multi-award winning serial social entrepreneur, and co-founder and former CEO of Livity, Don’t Panic and Live Magazine. Since starting his entrepreneurial career aged 19, Sam has mentored thousands of talented young entrepreneurs and hustlers around the world. He is an acclaimed public speaker, an advocate of ‘business as unusual’ or corporate responsibility and accountability, and a purpose-driven strategy consultant to brands such as Roald Dahl, Red Bull, Unilever and PlayStation.

His new book Be More Pirate, or How To Take On The World and Win, published by Penguin Random House is a manifesto for each of us to create the sort of Good Trouble the world needs. It is a manifesto for each of us to create the sort of Good Trouble the world needs. It’s based on the true and untold strategy and success of the Golden Age of Pirates as agents of change, leadership and social innovation. As unlikely as that sounds.

Sam has received numerous accolades for his work including EY’s Social Entrepreneur of the Year, Global CSR Leader at the Global CSR Awards. While CEO of Livity the company was named Marketing Agency of the Year and received the Grand Prix at the 2017 BIMA’s in recognition for the positive and industry wide influence of Livity’s “innovative and ethical work reinventing the agency model".

 

Highlights

From 2005-10 Livity helped create, produce and promote three series of the interactive multi-platform cult show Dubplate Drama, breaking new ground in entertainment as well as both on-screen diversity and recognition of an early UK grime scene.

From 2012 to 2017 Livity’s flagship youth program became somewhereto_, borne of London 2012 and the Cultural Olympiad. I was led it’s successful national execution through two successful multi million pound delivery contracts for hundreds of thousands of young people.

In June 2016, a week after the referendum, I Co-Founded and helped lead UnDivided, a year long youth-led initiative to create a representative and definitive set of demands for the UK’s future from hundreds of thousands of 16-25-year-olds.

I am honoured to be the Chair of Generation Change, raising the bar, raising the standards and raising the sights of youth social action.

And finally, I’m personally very honoured to have been recognised on The Independents Happy List (making the UK happier), named EY’s Social Entrepreneur of the Year, Included in the Maserati 100 (supporting young entrepreneurs) and to be awarded Global CSR Leader at the Global CSR Awards.
